A number game for first graders: a toy street of five or six pastel houses, each wearing a big round number plate on its door, and an envelope in the corner that tells you which house the letter belongs to. Tap the right house and the postman pedals his bicycle over, the letter sails into the mailbox and the little flag pops up. Three kinds of questions: find the house by its number, find the biggest or smallest number on the street, or find the house right before or right after a given number. Every question is read aloud, a wrong tap just makes the house wobble before a hint appears, and delivering five letters in a row earns a star.
