⚖️ Balance Scale
A toy balance-scale game for first graders: the heavier pan sinks, the lighter one rises, and the child answers by reading the tilt. Three ways to play — tap the heavier (or lighter) pan, add and take away fruit until both sides level out and the bell rings, or pick the missing number that makes the scale balance, a first taste of algebra. Every question is read aloud, a miss just wobbles the pan and then counting numbers, arrows and a hopping number line appear as hints, and five right answers in a row earn a star.
Read the scale: the heavier side always sinks lower, the lighter side rises. In "Which is heavier?" tap the pan the question asks for. In "Make it balance" press the big plus and minus buttons under the right pan until the beam is level and the bell rings. In "Find the number" pick the ball that makes both pans weigh the same. A near miss just wobbles — counting numbers, a tilt arrow or a hopping number line then appear so you can work it out yourself. Tap anywhere on the scene to hear the question again. Five in a row earns a star.
