✖️ Times Tables Race

A two-lane race where a child practises by driving: every right answer sends the little car shooting ahead of the machine, and a wrong one costs nothing — the car simply waits while the hint appears, the counting row 7, 14, 21, 28 for the tables, or a number line hopping 8 + 2 + 3 across ten for the adding, so the answer can be worked out instead of guessed. Switch on any mix of adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing, then pick the range: everything stays within 10 for early year 1, within 20 to practise crossing ten, or within 100 with carrying and borrowing for years 2 and 3 — the range caps every total, product and dividend alike. The grid behind the 📊 button fills in a little more each time a table fact is answered correctly, so the progress made over many afternoons stays visible.

Tap the roadside sign holding the answer — or press 1–4. A right answer sends the car forward, a wrong one leaves it standing and brings up the hint above: a counting row for the tables, a number line for the carrying sums. Switch on as many of ➕ ➖ ✖️ ➗ as you like, and the range chip (within 10 · 20 · 100) caps every answer, so it sets how hard the whole race gets. Five right in a row earns a star; 📊 opens the grid of the tables learned so far.
