Onset · rhyme · tone — the way first grade teaches it
🔤 Vietnamese Spelling
A game for practising Vietnamese spelling, in Vietnamese. A picture appears, the child builds its name out of an onset, a rhyme and a tone mark, then hears it spelt out the way a first-grade class does it: cờ - a - ca - sắc - cá. Nothing is timed, a wrong tap never turns red, and after two misses the game quietly fades out some of the wrong choices.
Pick the onset (blue), the rhyme (green), then the tone mark (orange) — the glowing tray is the one to tap. Tap the 🔊 card to hear the word again. Five syllables right in a row earns a star.
