Adding up by the thousand and saving toward a goal

🐷 Piggy Bank

Your child keeps a piggy bank on screen: pick a dream toy, then answer little money questions to earn notes and drop them through the slot. One turn asks how much the piggy holds after adding a note, the next asks which note rounds an amount up to a nice round number. A progress bar shows how much is saved and how much is still to go; when the goal is reached the piggy opens its belly hatch, the notes stack up and the toy arrives, no smashing needed. Along the way your child practises adding by thousands and gets a feel for saving up toward something.

Tap a card to choose what to save up for, then answer each little question: sometimes you add a note to what the piggy holds and pick the right total from four answers, sometimes you pick the note in the tray that rounds an amount up to a round number. A right answer sends the note flying into the slot and the piggy gives a happy oink; a wrong pick just wobbles and a counting hint appears (12, 13, 14...) so your child can try again, and the money already in the piggy stays put. Fill the bar and the piggy opens its belly to hand over the toy, plus one star for the star book.
