First English words, through pictures and sound
🦁 English — Listen and Pick
Ninety first English words for children in grades 1 to 3, learnt the way a child actually learns them: hear elephant read aloud slowly, tap the picture of the elephant, then see con voi appear underneath. Six topics — animals, colours, numbers, food, family and school things — and three ways to practise, from picture matching to reading the written word. The decoys are always words that sound alike, so the ear has real work to do.
Tap the speaker box to hear the word again, and the turtle button to hear it more slowly. Miss twice and the wrong choices fade away one by one. Five right in a row earns a star. If this device has no English voice, the word is written out instead so the game still works.
