๐ฅ Tap the Beat
Listen to the drum, clappers and song loan, tap the same rhythm back, learn to tap right on the beat, and read Do, Re, Mi from hand signs.
In Copy the rhythm, the computer plays a four-box rhythm first while a little ball bounces on every tap. On your turn, tap the instrument (anywhere in the picture works) the right number of times: a box with one big ball is one tap, a box with two small balls is two quick taps, and the box with zzz is a rest, so tap that box or simply wait for the ball to hop over it. Too many or too few taps and the box wobbles while the computer plays it again, more slowly. In On the beat, the computer plays the rhythm, counts one, two, three, four, and then it is your turn: tap just as each rolling ball touches the line. Early or late taps only show a small arrow, nothing is taken away, and steady playing makes the tempo pick up. In Do Re Mi, look at the hand and tap the matching step: a fist is Do, a hand slanting up is Re, a flat hand is Mi; after a few single hands come four-note tunes, and the computer sings each tune back. Five rhythms right in a row, or five tunes read without a slip, earn a star.
