A picking game for children just learning to add: the sign shows a sum, the fruit carrying the right answer drops into the basket. Nothing is timed and a wrong pick never turns red — the fruit just wobbles and the counting dots appear underneath, exactly the way first-graders are taught to count it out.
Tap the fruit holding the answer. After a miss — or if the picking takes a while — counting dots appear under the sign: five to a row, and in a subtraction the ones taken away are crossed out. Five right in a row earns a star.
