Second-grade sums right on squared paper: tap each digit into its own column and watch ten loose cubes bundle into a rod whenever there is one to carry.
In Column sums, tap the digits on the pad from the units column leftwards; the little carried 1 appears above the next column all by itself. In the other rounds, tap the answer card you want. Nothing is timed and nothing goes red: a miss just wobbles, then the counting blocks open up, ten ones bundle into a rod, or a borrowed rod bursts back into ten ones so you can see how it works before you see the answer.
