The zenith is at the centre, the horizon at the rim, north up and east to the left, as when you look up. Orion, the Big Dipper, Scorpius and the Southern Cross drift with the real sky; the Sun and the Moon's phase are shown too. Defaults to Vietnam; tap for your GPS location. The map updates itself every 30 seconds. Named stars are the brightest; lines trace the classic constellation figures. A big yellow disc is the Sun (only shown when it's above the horizon). Positions are computed for epoch J2000 stars — accurate enough to find your way around the real sky.
